Replacement 3/4” Turbine & Support Kit Instructions
1. Place the bypass valve into the bypass position.
2. Manually advance the softener valve to the backwash posi-
tion to depressurize the system.
3. Pull out the 2 clips holding the softener valve inlet and outlet
ports to the bypass valve (See Figure 1).
4. Pull the softener valve and the bypass valve apart from each
other.
5. Remove the 2 old o-rings from the bypass valve (See Figure
2).
6. Locate and remove the old turbine & support assembly from
inside the softener valve’s outlet port.
7. Insert the new turbine & support assembly into the softener
valve’s outlet port, as shown in Figure 2.
8. Lubricate the 2 new o-rings with the tube of silicone grease
provided in the kit and place them on the bypass valve’s
inlet & outlet ports, where shown in Figure 2.
9. Reconnect the softener valve to the bypass valve and
replace the 2 clips (new clips are included in the kit).
10. Place the bypass valve into the service (normal operation)
position.
11. Push the recharge button to return the softener valve to the
service (normal operation) position.
