INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the JBL L100 Classic 75 3-Way Loudspeaker
This Limited-Edition JBL L100 Classic 75 loudspeaker package celebrates JBLs 75 years of iconic loudspeakers. The
L100 Classic 75 features a beautiful teak wood veneer enclosure complemented by a black Quadrex foam grille, and
anniversary-edition badges on the front and rear including a numbered commemorative plaque with the signature of
the principal system engineer.
Acoustically, the L100 Classic 75 retains all of the performance attributes that endeared the original L100 to listeners
in the ‘70’s and ‘80s, such as exceptional dynamic range and contrast, clean and effortless high output, and precise
high impact bass. The updated L100 Classic 75 adds even greater detail resolution across the full bandwidth, lower
distortion and more lifelike stereo imaging, particularly off-axis.
The anniversary edition JBL L100 Classic 75 offers documented exclusivity, with a unique appearance and features
only available once. The L100 Classic 75 is destined to become a collector’s item among JBL fans around the world.

PLACEMENT AND POSITIONING
Before deciding where to place your speakers, survey your room and think about placement, using the illustration
below as a guide.
•Avoidplacingthespeakersnearpoweramplifiers,heatregistersorotherobjectsthatgeneratelargeamountsof
heat.
•Donotplacethespeakersinveryhumidordustyplaces.
•Donotplacethespeakersindirectsunlightorwherethey
will be exposed to other intense light.
•Forbestresults,placethespeakers6–8feet(1.8-2.4m)
apart. If you set the speakers farther apart than this, angle
them toward the listening position.
•Thespeakerswillproducethemostaccuratestereo
soundstage when the angle between the listener and the

recommend that you place the speakers at least 20 inches
