How to Set the Oven for Broiling
[] Place the meat or fish on the broiler
grid in the broiler pan.
[] Follow suggested shelf positions in
the Broilin9 Guide.
If yourrangeisconnectedto208volts,raresteaks
maybebroiledbypreheatingthebroilerand
positioningtheovensheffonepositionhigher
Use LO Broil to cook foods such as
poult_ 7 or thick cuts of meat thoroughly
without over-browning them.
[] Touch the BROILHI/LOpad once for
HI Broil.
To change to LO Broil, touch the
BROILNI,q.O pad again.
[] Touch tile START/0N pad.
[] When broiling is finished, touch the
gila R/0_" pad.
The size, weight, thickness,
starting temperature
and your prefbrence
of doneness will affect
broiling times. This guide
is based on meats at
refrigerator temperature.
