Operating Environment

vents not blocked)

Do not install this unit in a poorly ventilated area, or in locations exposed to high

humidityordirectsunlight(orstrongarticiallight).

• Ensure that water does not enter the device, and that it is kept dry. Do not use in

locationswithhighhumidity.Doingsomayleadtoreorelectricshock.

• Do not use in wet locations such as in bathrooms or shower rooms. Doing so may

leadtoreorelectricshock.

Installation

• Topreventarehazard,donotplaceanynakedamesources(suchasalighted

candle) on or anywhere near the equipment.

• Donotplacenearopenames,suchasareplace,orheatsources.Doingsomay

leadtoreordeforming.

• Ensure that the power cord is fully inserted into the AC adapter, and that the power

plug is fully inserted into the outlet. Failure to do so may cause heat to be generated

ordusttoadhere,leadingtore.Additionally,touchingthebladesofthepowerplug

may result in electric shock.

• Do not connect the power plug to outlets where the plug is loose even when

insertedfully.Doingsomaycauseheating,andleadtore.Askanelectricianto

replace electrical outlets.

• Do not place in unstable locations such as on a wobbly table or on an incline. The

devicemayfallortopple,leadingtoinjury.

• Donotplacethedeviceinlocationssubjecttolargeamountsofoilysmoke,

moisture,ordust,suchonacooktoporclosetoahumidier.Doingsomayleadto

reorelectricshock.

• Donotleaveinalocationsubjecttoextremeheat,suchasinavehiclewiththe

windows closed or in direct sunlight. Doing so may lead to damage.

• Do not set device anywhere that it might accidentally be stepped or sat upon.

Please take particular care with regard to children. The device may fall or break,

leadingtoinjury.
