Maintaining your fire table
Cleaning your fire table
Periodically clean the exterior surfaces of your fire table with warm soapy water. Never use flammable or corrosive cleaning
agents.
Inspecting your fire table
Check the entire hose assembly at least annually. Look for evidence of excessive abrasion, cuts, or wear. Suspected
areas should be leak-tested.
Look for spiders and insects which can nest in the burner or orifices. This condition can be dangerous and can damage
your fire table and render it unsafe for use. Clean the burner holes by using a heavy-duty pipe cleaner. Compressed air
may help clear away smaller particles.
Look for excessive carbon deposits which may create a fire hazard. Clean the dome and burner screen with warm soapy
water if any carbon deposits develop.
Storing your fire table
Between uses:
Turn the Control Knob OFF.
Disconnect the LP source.
Store your fire table upright in an area sheltered from direct contact with inclement weather (such as rain, sleet, hail,
snow, dust, and debris).
If desired, cover your fire table to protect the exterior surfaces and to help prevent debris build-up in air passages.
Transporting your fire table
When transporting:
Turn the Control Knob OFF.
Disconnect the LP source and move it to a secure, well-ventilated location, outdoors.
WARNING: Do NOT touch or move your fire table for at least 45 minutes after use.
Notes:
While cleaning your fire table, be sure to keep the area around the burner dry at all times.
Do not submerge the control valve assembly in water. If the gas control has been submerged in water, do NOT use it. It must be
replaced.
Keep the appliance area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids.
Do not obstruct the flow of air for combustion and ventilation.
Keep the ventilation opening(s) of the tank enclosure free and clear of debris.
Keep controls, burner, and circulating air passageways clean.
Note: In a salt-air environment (such as near an ocean), corrosion occurs more quickly than normal. Frequently check for corroded
areas and repair them promptly.
Tip: Use a high-quality automobile wax to help maintain the appearance of your fire table. Apply to exterior surfaces only. Do not
apply to burner.
Note: Wait until your fire table is cool before covering.
