Hot Surface Hazard

Accessble parts may become hot when n use. To avod

burns and scalds, be careful not to touch any hot part and

keep chldren away.

Use oven mtts or other protecton when handlng hot

surfaces such as oven shelves or dshes.

Use care when openng the oven door. Let hot ar or steam

escape before removng or replacng food.

Do not touch heatng elements or nteror surfaces of the

oven. Heatng elements may be hot even though they are

dark n colour.

Interor surfaces of an oven become hot enough to cause

burns.

Durng and after use, do not touch, or let clothng or other

flammable materals contact heatng elements or nteror

surfaces of the oven untl they have had suffcent tme to

cool.

Other surfaces of the applance may become hot enough to

cause burns - among these surfaces are the oven vent, the

surface near the oven vent, and the oven door.

Falure to follow ths advce could result n burns and scalds.
