Clean the drain opening regularly (see 8.3 Cleaning the
appliance) .
8.2.2 Defrosting the freezer compartment with
NoFrost
Defrosting is performed automatically with the NoFrost system.
The moisture is deposited on the evaporator, is periodically
defrosted and evaporates.
The appliance does not need to be defrosted.
8.3 Cleaning the appliance
8.3.1 Ready

Remove the refrigerator connector or interrupt the power
supply.

Do not damage the refrigeration circuit.

Empty the appliance.
8.3.2 Cleaning the interior
NOTICE
Improper cleaning!
Damage to the appliance.

Only use soft cleaning cloths and ph-neutral all-purpose
cleaners.

Plastic surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth, luke-
warm water and a little detergent.
u
Metal surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth, luke-
warm water and a little detergent.

: remove any deposits with a thin item
such as a cotton bud.
8.3.3 Cleaning the dry rear panel*
You can remove the dry rear panel for cleaning.
Removing the rear panel

Remove all equipment parts.

Unscrew the bracket of the water tank with a torx screw-
driver.

The bracket remains attached to the side panel via various
connections and cannot be completely removed.

Hold the rear panel with both hands at the bottom and pull
downward vigorously at the same time.
u
Pull the rear panel out to the front by the bottom end.

The rear panel has been removed.
If you want to continue operating the appliance with the rear
panel removed:

Set the
D-Value
to
D2
. (see D-Value*)

Make sure the appliance is completely empty.

Slide in the rear panel from below to the top.
u
Press back vigorously on the left-hand side of the rear panel.

The rear panel clicks into place.

Screw the water tank bracket firmly in place.

Insert the equipment parts.

Set the
D-Value
to
D1
