PRECAUTIONS
1. Ensure that the AC power supply in your
house complies with the power
requirements listed on the identication
sticker located on the bottom of your
product. Install your product horizontally, on
a suitable base (furniture), with enough
space around it for ventilation (3~4 inches).
Make sure the ventilation slots are not
covered. Do not place the unit on ampliers
or other equipment which may become hot.
This unit is designed for continuous use.
To fully turn off the unit, disconnect the AC
plug from the wall outlet. Unplug the unit if
you intend to leave it unused for a long
period of time.
2. During thunderstorms, disconnect the AC
plug from the wall outlet. Voltage peaks due
to lightning could damage the unit.
3. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or
other heat sources. This could lead to
overheating and cause the unit to
malfunction.
4. Protect the product from moisture (i.e.
vases), and excess heat (e.g. a replace) or
equipment creating strong magnetic or
electric elds. Unplug the power cable from
the AC wall socket if the unit malfunctions.
Your product is not intended for industrial
use. It is for personal use only. Condensation
may occur if your product has been stored in
cold temperatures. If transporting the unit
during the winter, wait approximately
2 hours until the unit has reached room
temperature before using.
5. The battery used with this product contains
chemicals that are harmful to the
environment. Do not dispose of the battery
in the general household trash. Do not

mode or status. The color of the LED indicator and the number of lights indicate the active
mode as described below.

Blue depending on the mode or status.

• When you plug in the AC cord, the power button will begin working in 4 to 6 seconds.

03 USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Inserting Batteries before using the Remote Control (AAA batteries X 2)
Slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow
until it is completely removed.
Insert 2 AAA batteries (1.5V) oriented so that their
polarity is correct. Slide the back cover back into
position.

– If the Rear Speakers (sold separately) are connected, the setting “Rear Level” is supported. To adjust
the volume of the “Rear Level” between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

By pressing the button, you can set the audio function. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/
Down buttons. Each time the mode changes, the Multicolor LED blinks in white.

“Sync” “Night mode” “Voice enhancement”
– If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select “Sync” in Sound
Control, and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
(Not available in “USB” or “Bluetooth”mode.)
– “Sync” is only supported for some functions.
– “Night mode” and “Voice enhancement” are not supported in “DTS Virtual:X” sound mode.
– “Night mode” is optimized for night time viewing with the settings adjusted to bring the volume
down but keep the dialog clear.
– “Voice enhancement” makes it easier to hear spoken dialog in movies and TV.

Press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency
band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons
and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound
mode is set to "Standard".)

• Bluetooth Power On/Off
This feature automatically turns the Soundbar on when it receives a connection request from a
previously connected TV or Bluetooth device. The setting is On by default.
– Press and hold the SOUND MODE button for more than 5 seconds to turn off the Bluetooth Power
function.
• DRC (Dynamic Range Control) On/Off
Lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. Press and hold the SOUND MODE
button for more than 5 seconds while the Soundbar is powered off to turn DRC (Dynamic Range
Control) on or off. With the DRC turned on, loud sound is reduced. (The sound may be distorted.)

When subwoofer is connected, push the button up or down to adjust the woofer level to -12 or between -6
to +6. When subwoofer is disconnected, push the button up or down to adjust the bass level between -6 to
+6.
To set the woofer (bass) volume level to 0 (Default), press the button. (If Soundbar connected to
wireless subwoofer (sold separately)).
TONE CONTROL
By pressing the button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. The desired item can be
adjusted using the Up/Down buttons. (This feature is available in all sound modes except “Standard”
mode.)

Adjusting the Soundbar volume with a TV remote control
Adjust the Soundbar volume using the TV’s remote control.
• This function can be used with IR remote controls only. Bluetooth remote controls (remote
controls that require pairing) are not supported.
• Set the TV speaker to External Speaker to use this function.
• Manufacturers supporting this function:
Samsung, VIZIO, LG, Sony, Sharp, PHILIPS, PANASONIC, TOSHIBA, Hisense, RCA

1. Turn Off the Soundbar.
2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds.
Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the
following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”.
The LED indicator status changes each time the mode is changed, as shown below.

04 CONNECTING THE SOUNDBAR
Connecting Electrical Power
Use the power components to connect the Soundbar to an electrical outlet in the following order:
• For more information about the required electrical power and power consumption, refer to the
label attached to the product. (Label: Bottom of the Soundbar Main Unit)
1. First connect the power cable to the AC/DC adapter.
Connect the AC/DC adapter (with the power cable) to the Soundbar.
2. Connect the power cord to a wall socket.

NOTES
• If you unplug and reconnect the power cord when the product is turned on, the Soundbar turns on
automatically.
• Make sure to rest the AC/DC Adapter at on a table or the oor. If you place the AC/DC Adapter so
that it is hanging with the AC cord input facing upwards, water or other foreign substances could
enter the Adapter and cause the Adapter to malfunction.
Connecting the Samsung Wireless Rear Kit and Subwoofer to your
Soundbar
Expand to true wireless surround sound by connecting the Samsung Wireless Rear Speaker Kit
(SWA-9100S or SWA-9200S, sold separately) and Wireless Subwoofer (SWA-W510, sold separately) to
your Soundbar.

Subwoofer manual.

05 USING A WIRED CONNECTION TO THE TV
Method 1. Connecting with HDMI
CAUTION
• When both the HDMI cable and optical cable are connected, the HDMI signal is received rst.
• To connect the HDMI cable between the TV and Soundbar, be sure to connect the terminals
marked ARC. Otherwise, the TV sound may not be output.
• The recommended cable is High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet.

• When the TV sound is not output, press the top panel of the Soundbar or the
(Source)
button on the remote control to select the “Digital Audio In” mode.
• When the sound is not output, check the HDMI Cable connection again.
• Use the volume buttons on the TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar.
NOTES
• When you connect the TV that supports the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) to the Soundbar
with an HDMI cable, you can transmit the digital video and audio data without connecting a
separate optical cable.
• We recommend you use a coreless HDMI cable if possible. If you use a cored HDMI cable, use one
whose diameter is less than 0.55 inches (14 mm).
• This function is not available if the HDMI cable does not support ARC.
• When the audio in a broadcast is encoded in Dolby Digital and the “Digital Output Audio Format” on
your TV is set to PCM, we recommend that you change the setting to Dolby Digital. When the
setting on the TV is changed, you will experience better sound quality. (The TV menu may use
different words for Dolby Digital and PCM depending on the TV manufacturer.)

the gure.

3. Press the (Source) button on the top panel or remote control, and then select the “Digital
Audio In” mode.
4. The TV sound is output from the Soundbar.

Using the Q-Symphony Function
For Q-Symphony, the Soundbar syncs with a Samsung TV to output sound through two devices for
optimum surround effect. When the Soundbar is connected, the menu, “TV+Soundbar” appears under
the Sound Output menu of the TV. Select the corresponding menu.

06 USING A WIRELESS CONNECTION TO THE TV
Connecting via Bluetooth
When a Samsung TV is connected using Bluetooth, you can hear stereo sound
without the hassle of cables.
• Only one Samsung TV can be connected at a time.
• Samsung TV that supports Bluetooth can be connected.
Check the specications of your TV.
The initial connection
1. Press the PAIR button on the Soundbar remote control or press (Source) button on the
Soundbar top panel to enter the "Bluetooth" mode.

When a mobile device is connected using Bluetooth, you can hear stereo sound
without the hassle of cables.
• When you connect a paired Bluetooth device with the Soundbar off, the

• When connecting to a new Bluetooth device, make sure the device is within 3.28 ft (1 m) distance.

– When exposed to radio interferences by other products operating on the same frequency

How to pair multiple devices to the Soundbar
1. Turn on the Soundbar.
2. Only in “Bluetooth” mode, press and hold the
(Source) button on the top of the Soundbar for
more than 5 seconds for the Soundbar to go into “Bluetooth Pairing” mode, then on the Bluetooth
device side, switch Bluetooth on, and select the Soundbar from the list of available devices, the
Soundbar will automatically connect to the Bluetooth device.
3. A 2nd Bluetooth device can be paired and connected to the Soundbar using the same method.
If you attempt to connect a 3rd device, a connected device that is not playing audio will lose its
Bluetooth connection, but will still be paired with the Soundbar.
4. Using the same method, you can pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices, but only the last 2 will stay
connected to the Soundbar at the same time.

• This function is only compatible on Samsung mobile devices with Android 8.1 or later.

• Make sure the mobile device does not tap a sharp corner of the Soundbar. The Soundbar or
mobile device may become scratched or damaged.
• It is recommended that the mobile device be covered with a case. Lightly tap the wide area in
the upper portion of the Soundbar, without using excessive force.
• To use this function, update the SmartThings app to the latest version.
The function may not be supported, depending on the app version.
Enable the Tap Sound function
Use the SmartThings app to turn on the Tap View, Tap Sound function.
1. On the mobile device, run the SmartThings app.
2. Select (
→ ) in the SmartThings app screen displayed on the mobile device.
3. Set “Tap View, Tap Sound” to On to allow the function to work when a mobile device moves close to
the Soundbar.
NOTES
• When the mobile device is in power-saving mode, the Tap Sound function does not work.
• The Tap Sound function may not work if there are devices near the Soundbar that cause radio
interference such as electric devices. Make sure devices that may cause radio interference are
placed at a sufcient distance away from the Soundbar.

Installation Precautions
• Install on a vertical wall only.
• Do not install in a place with high
temperature or humidity.
• Verify whether the wall is strong enough to
support the product’s weight. If not, reinforce
the wall or choose another installation point.
• Purchase and use the xing screws or
anchors appropriate for the kind of wall you
have (plaster board, iron board, wood, etc.). If
possible, x the support screws into wall
studs.
• Purchase wall mounting screws according to
the type and thickness of the wall you want to
mount the Soundbar on.

then the 5 LEDs will ash in a loop again.
When the update is complete, the cyan

10. Placez le cordon d’alimentation de sorte qu’il

l’appareil.

Si l’appareil est posé sur un meuble à

13. Débranchez l’appareil en cas d’orage ou
lorsqu’il est inutilisé pendant une période
prolongée.
14. Conez toutes les réparations à un technicien
qualié. Votre appareil doit impérativement
être réparé lorsqu’il a été endommagé de
quelque manière que ce soit :
détérioration
du cordon ou de la che d’alimentation,
projection de liquide sur l’appareil, chute

PRÉCAUTIONS
1. Assurez-vous que le bloc d'alimentation CA
chez vous est conforme aux exigences de
puissance gurant sur la plaque
d'identication située à en dessous de votre
produit. Installez votre produit
horizontalement, sur un socle approprié
(meuble), en laissant un espace sufsant
pour la ventilation sur le pourtour 3~4 po.
Faites attention à ne pas obstruer les orices
de ventilation. Ne posez pas l’ensemble sur
un amplicateur ou un autre appareil
susceptible de chauffer. Cet ensemble est
conçu pour une utilisation en continu.
Pour éteindre totalement l’appareil,
débranchez la che c.a. de la prise murale.
Débranchez l’appareil si vous prévoyez une
longue période d’inactivité.
2. En cas d’orage, débranchez la che de
l’appareil de la prise murale. Les surtensions
occasionnées par l’orage pourraient
endommager votre appareil.
3. N’exposez pas l’ensemble aux rayons directs
du soleil ou à toute autre source de chaleur.
Cela pourrait causer une surchauffe du l et
causer un dysfonctionnement de l’unité.

Protégez le produit de l’humidité (comme les
vases) et d’une chaleur excessive (comme une
cheminée) ou de tout équipement capable de
créer des champs magnétiques ou électriques.
Débranchez le câble d’alimentation en cas de
dysfonctionnement. Votre produit n’est pas
prévu pour un usage industriel. Ce produit ne
peut être utilisé qu’à des ns personnelles.
Une condensation peut se former si le produit
ou un disque a été stocké à basse
température. Si vous devez transporter
l’ensemble pendant l’hiver, attendez environ
2 heures que l’appareil ait atteint la
température de la pièce avant de l’utiliser.
5. Les piles utilisées dans ce produit peuvent
contenir des produits chimiques dangereux
pour l’environnement. Ne jetez pas les piles
dans votre poubelle habituelle. Ne vous
débarrassez pas des piles en les faisant
brûler. Les piles ne doivent pas être court-
circuitées, démontées ou subir de surchauffe.

• Lorsque vous branchez le câble d’alimentation CA, le bouton d’alimentation se met à fonctionner au

– Si la vidéo de la télévision et l’audio du Soundbar ne sont pas synchronisés, sélectionnez «Sync»
dans les réglages sonores, puis réglez le retard de l’audio entre 0 et 300 millisecondes à l’aide des
boutons Haut/Bas. (Non disponible en mode « USB » ou « Bluetooth ».)
– L’option «Sync» n’est prise en charge que pour certaines fonctions.
– Les modes «Night mode» et «Voice enhancement» ne sont pas pris en charge en mode de son
«DTS Virtual:X».
– «Night mode» est optimisé pour un visionnement nocturne lorsque les paramètres sont réglés de
façon à baisser le volume tout en préservant la clarté des dialogues.
– «Voice enhancement» vous permet de mieux entendre les dialogues dans les lms et à la
télévision.

Maintenez le bouton (Contrôle du son) enfoncé pendant environ 5 secondes pour régler le son pour
chaque bande de fréquence. Vous pouvez utiliser les boutons Gauche/Droite pour sélectionner les
fréquences suivantes : 150 Hz, 300 Hz, 600 Hz, 1,2 kHz, 2,5 kHz, 5 kHz et 10 kHz. Vous pouvez également
dénir chaque fréquence sur une valeur allant de -6 à +6 à l’aide des boutons Haut/Bas.
(Veillez à ce que le mode son soit déni sur « Standard ».)

Cette fonction est activée automatiquement sur le Soundbar lors de la réception d’une demande de
connexion depuis un appareil Bluetooth ou un téléviseur connecté précédemment. Le paramètre est activé
par défaut.
– Appuyez sur la touche SOUND MODE et maintenez-la enfoncée pendant plus de
5 secondes pour désactiver la fonction Bluetooth Power.

Vous permet d’appliquer la commande de portée dynamique aux pistes Dolby Digital. Maintenez
enfoncé le bouton SOUND MODE pendant plus de 5secondes pendant que le Soundbar est hors
tension pour activer ou désactiver la fonction DRC (commande de portée dynamique). Quand la
fonction DRC est activée, les sont forts sont limités.

Lorsque le caisson de basses est connecté, appuyez sur le bouton vers le haut ou le bas pour le régler à-12
ou entre-6 et+6. Lorsque le caisson de basses est déconnecté, appuyez sur le bouton vers le haut ou le
bas pour régler le niveau des graves entre-6 et+6. Pour régler le volume du caisson de basses (graves)
à0 (valeur par défaut), appuyez sur le bouton (si le Soundbar est connecté au caisson de basses sans l
[vendu séparément]).
TONE CONTROL

• Cette fonction ne peut être utilisée qu’avec des télécommandes infrarouges. Les

04 CONNEXION DU SOUNDBAR
Connexion de l'alimentation électrique
An de brancher le Soundbar à une prise électrique, utilisez les composants d’alimentation dans l’ordre
suivant :
• Pour plus d'informations sur les exigences en matière d'alimentation électrique et de
consommation d'énergie, reportez-vous à l'étiquette apposée sur le produit. (Étiquette : Partie
inférieure de l’unité principale du Soundbar)
1. Tout d’abord, raccordez le câble d’alimentation à l’adaptateur CA/CC.
Connectez l’adaptateur CA/CC (avec le câble d’alimentation) au Soundbar.

REMARQUES

REMARQUES
• Lorsque vous connectez le téléviseur prenant en charge HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) au
Soundbar avec un câble HDMI, vous pouvez transmettre les données vidéo et audio numériques
sans connecter de câble optique séparé.
• Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser si possible un câble HDMI sans noyau. Si vous utilisez un câble
HDMI à noyau, utilisez-en un dont le diamètre est inférieur à 0,55 po (14 mm).
• Cette fonction n'est pas disponible si le câble HDMI ne prend pas en charge ARC.
• Lorsque le son d'une diffusion est encodé en Dolby Digital et que le paramètre «Format de sortie
audio numérique» est déni sur PCM sur votre téléviseur, nous recommandons de changer ce
paramètre en le dénissant sur Dolby Digital. Une fois que vous aurez modié ce paramètre sur le
téléviseur, vous pourrez proter d'une meilleure qualité sonore. (Le menu du téléviseur peut utiliser
des mots différents pour Dolby Digital et PCM selon le fabricant du téléviseur.)

Pour utiliser la fonction Q-Symphony, le Soundbar se synchronise avec un téléviseur Samsung an de

• Lorsque vous connectez le Soundbar à un périphérique Bluetooth, placez-les aussi près que
possible l’un de l’autre.
• Plus le Soundbar et le périphérique Bluetooth sont éloignés l’un de l’autre, plus la qualité sonore
diminue. La connexion Bluetooth peut se rompre lorsque les appareils sont hors de portée
effective.
• La connexion Bluetooth peut ne pas fonctionner comme prévu dans les zones où la réception est
mauvaise.
• Un périphérique Bluetooth peut émettre du bruit ou devenir défaillant dans les conditions suivantes :
– Lorsque le corps est en contact avec l’émetteur-récepteur de signal sur l’appareil Bluetooth ou

Comment associer plusieurs appareils au Soundbar
1. Allumez le Soundbar.
2. En mode « Bluetooth » seulement, appuyez sur le bouton (Source) sur le dessus du Soundbar et
maintenez-le enfoncé pendant plus de 5secondes an que le Soundbar passe en mode
« Bluetooth Pairing ». Ensuite, activez Bluetooth sur l'appareil Bluetooth et sélectionnez le Soundbar dans
la liste des appareils disponibles. Le Soundbar sera automatiquement connecté à l'appareil Bluetooth.
3. Un deuxième appareil Bluetooth peut être associé et connecté au Soundbar en procédant de la
même façon. Si vous essayez de connecter un troisième appareil, un appareil connecté qui ne lit
pas d’audio perdra sa connexion Bluetooth, mais sera toujours associé au Soundbar.
4. En utilisant la même méthode, vous pouvez associer jusqu’à 8 appareils Bluetooth, mais seuls les 2

Précautions d’installation
• Procédez à l’installation sur un mur vertical
uniquement.
• N’installez pas le produit dans un endroit où
la température ou le taux d’humidité est
élevé.
• Vériez que le mur est sufsamment solide
pour supporter le poids du produit. Sinon,
renforcez le mur ou choisissez un autre point
d’installation.
• Achetez et utilisez les vis de xation ou les
chevilles adaptées au type de mur que vous
possédez (plaque de plâtre, plaque de fer,
bois, etc.). Si possible, xez les vis de support
dans les poteaux muraux.
• Achetez des vis de montage mural en
fonction du type et de l’épaisseur du mur sur
lequel vous souhaitez monter le Soundbar.

trous avant d’insérer les vis de support. Si
vous utilisez des ancrages, assurez-vous
que les trous que vous percez sont assez
grands pour les accommoder.
5. Poussez une vis (non fournie) dans chaque
Visdexation, puis vissez fermement
chaque vis dans un trou de vis de support.

selon l’orientation correcte en bas de la
