PROBLEM
CLOCK AND TIMER
DO NOT WORK
"F--AND A NUMBER"
FLASH IN THE DISPLAY
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Range electrical plug must be securely seated in a live power outleL Check
for blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker,
Check for power outage.
Review the Oven Control, Clock and Timer section of this guide.
if the time display flashes "F--and a number", you have a function error code.
If a function error code appears during the self-cleaning cycle, check the oven
door latch The latch may have been moved, even if only slightly, from the
latched positiono Make sure the latch is moved to the right as far as itwill go.
Turn the Oven Set knob to off Allow the oven to coot for one hour
Put the oven back into operation.
= Disconnect all power to the range for 5 minutes and then reconnect power_
If the failure code repeats, then cali for service.
THE DISPLAY GOES - Disconnect power to the range at the fuse box or circuit breaker for at least
BLANK OR INDICATOR t0 seconds Turn power back on If the indicator lights are still on, cal!
LIGHTS COME ON WHEN for service.
THE RANGE IS NOT IN USE

The Oven Set knob is set at CLEAN before the door latch handle is
moved to the right.
Bulb may be Ioose or burned out.
Electrical plug must be plugged into a live power outlet.
= Fluorescent bulb is loose or defective Adjust or replace.
o Switch operating light is broken, Call for service.
° Plug on the range is not completely inserted in the electrical outlet,
- The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown_
° Door left in _ock position after self-cleaning_
- Oven controls not properly seL
The oven thermostat needs adjustment, See the Adjust the Oven
