I MPORTANT SAFETY I NSTRUCTIONS
To reduce risk of fire, electric shock, serious
injury or death when using your refrigerator,
follow basic precautions, including the following:
1. Read all mstructtons before usmg the refrigerator.
2. Observe all local codes and ordinances.
3. Be sure to follow groundtng mstructtons.
4. Check wtth a quahfted electnctan tf you are not
sure thts appltance ts properly grounded.
5. Do not ground to a gas hne.
6. Do not ground to a cold-water ptpe.
7. Refrigerator ts destgned to operate on a separate
115 volt, 15 amp., 60 cycle hne.
8. Do not modtfy plug on power cord. If plug does
not ftt wall receptacle, have proper receptacle
tnstalled by a quahfied electrtctan.
9. Do not use a two-prong adapter, extenston cord
or power strip.
10. Do not remove warnmg tag from power cord.
11. De not tamper wtth refrigerator controls.
12. Do not servtce or replace any part of refngerator
unless spectfically recommended tn Use and Care
Gutde or pubhshed user-repatr tnstructtons.
Do not attempt servtce tf tnstructtons are not
understood or tf they are beyond personal sktll
level.
13. Always dtsconnect refrigerator from electrical
supply before attempttng any servtce. Dtsconnect
power cord by graspmg the plug, not the cord.
14. Install refrigerator accordmg to Installation
Instructtons. All connecttons for water, electrical
power and groundmg must comply wtth local
codes and be made by hcensed personnel when
requtred.
15. Keep your refrigerator m good condttton. Bumpmg
or dropptng refrigerator can damage refrigerator
or cause refrigerator to malfunctton or leak. If
damage occurs, have refrigerator checked by
quahfted servtce techntctan.
16. Have worn power cords and/or loose plugs
replaced by a qualtfted servtce techntctan.
17. Always read and follow manufacturer's storage
and tdeal envtronment mstructions for ttems betng
stored tn refrigerator.
18. Your refrigerator should not be operated m the
presence of explostve fumes.
19. Children should not chmb, hang or stand on any
