COOKTOP SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
■ Neverleavethesurfaceburnersunattended.Foods,
especially oily foods, may ignite resulting in fire that
could spread to surrounding cabinets.
■ Neverleaveoilunattendedwhilefrying.Ifallowed
to heat beyond its smoking point, oil may ignite
resulting in fire that may spread to surrounding
cabinets.Useadeepfatthermometerwhenever
possible to monitor oil temperature.
■ Toavoidoilspilloverandfire,usetheminimum
amount of oil when using a shallow pan-frying
and avoid cooking frozen foods with excessive
amounts of ice.
■ Useproperpansizeandavoidpansthatare
unstable or easily tipped. Select cookware that is
matchedtothesizeoftheburner.Burnerflames
should be adjusted so that they do not extend
beyond the bottom of the pan. Excessive flame may
