BROILING
For best results, do not preheat when broiling,
unless your recipe recommends it.
1• Place the STURDIGLIDE rM rack so that the
surface of the food i8 at least 3 inches away
from the broil element. See "Broiling guidelines,"
pp. 22, 23.
2. Put your food on the broiler pan and place the t t
pan in the center of the oven rack.
3. Close the door to the broil stop position.
The broil stop position lets the door stay open
by itself about 5 inches and ensures proper
broiling temperatures.
