Only for an appliance with a niche
height greater than 140cm
To enhance the stability of the appli-
ance in the unit, push the rods supplied
in underneath the appliance between it
and the floor of the housing unit:
First secure the handle to one of
the stabilising rods.
Push the stabilising rod into the
guide hole as far as it will go. Remove
the handle, fit it to the other rod
supplied and push this into its guide
as far as it will go.
Tip: Keep the handle somewhere safe
in case you ever need to fit the appli-
ance into a new housing unit.
Close the appliance doors.
Fitting the furniture door
If fitted in a run of units make sure that
the top edge of the furniture door is at
the same height as neighbouring unit
doors.
The furniture door must be fitted cor-
rectly and not under tension.
The next section gives instructions on
how to fit a furniture door that is at
least 16–19 mm thick.
The distance between the appliance
door and the fixing bracket is set to
8mm at the factory. Check this dis-
tance and adjust it if necessary.
Push the fitting aids up to the
height of the furniture door: the lower
edge X of the fitting aids must be at
the same height as the upper edge of
the furniture door being fitted (see
in diagram).
