Certain settings on the appliance can
only be selected in settings mode.
When in settings mode, the door
alarm and other fault messages are
automatically deactivated although the
alarm symbol appears in the dis-
play.
Settings options
Activating or deactivating the
lock
Switching the ice-cube maker
on and off (setting the water
volume; rinsing the ice-cube
maker; adjusting the cleaning
setting for the ice-cube tray)
Switching the audible signals
on/off
Altering the display brightness
Switching Sabbath mode on/off
The settings options available for the
ice-cube maker are described in “Mak-
ing ice cubes” and “Cleaning and care”.
All other settings options are described
below.
Safety lock
The safety lock can be activated to pre-
vent:
- the appliance being switched off by
mistake,
- the temperature being changed by
mistake,
- the SuperFreeze function being se-
lected by mistake,
- settings being adjusted by mistake (it
is only possible to deactivate the
safety lock).
This prevents the appliance being
switched off or settings being adjusted
without your knowledge (by children, for
example).
Activating or deactivating the safety
lock
Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection will
appear in the display and the symbol
flashes.
Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The last selected setting flashes and
the symbol lights up in the display.
