Measured Fi_ Calibration
Measured Fill Calibration
The accuracy of your Measured Fill function can be affected by variations in the incoming water
pressure, The Measured Fi[[ Ca[ibration Mode al[ows you to fine--tune the amount of water
dispensed from the prese[ected vo[umes on your cabinet,
The ca[ibration mode is worked out as a percentage, You can measure the amount the refrigerator is
under filling or over filling and increase or decrease the calibration to get the exact amount you want,
To assess whether the Measured Fi[[ function is under or over filling:
Press the [MEASUREDFILL I button unti[ 1 qt (1 L)is displayed,
Dispense this amount into a measuring jug,
Estimate the amount of water that has been dispensed into the jug,
eg, 33 floz = under filling by 3 floz or 975 m[ = under filling by 25 m[s
To calculate the Calibration factor:
Transfer the difference into a percentage.
eg. 32/33 = 3.03 = 303% or 3000/975 = 1.03 = 103%
Enter the Ca[ibration mode by pressing and holding the _L_a and @ buttons together for 4 seconds.
S00CAL wi[[ be displayed.
The number disp[ayed is a percentage. Adjust this accordingly using the @ and _ buttons.
eg. 100CAL= 303 CAL
Press the [MEASUREDHLLI button to confirm your selection.
Please note:
The Measured Fi[I function has an accuracy of +/-5% at the time of ca[ibration,
The accuracy of your calibration will of course be subject to the accuracy of your measuring
device and method.
