CARING FOR YOUR FIRE PIT:
Clean Regularly: All re pits must be cleaned and inspected periodically. The ash produced in wood-burning re pit
must be cleaned out regularly. Never allow ash to accumulate in the bowl.
Clean Safely: Make sure the re has completely died down and the metal is completely cool before you remove the
ashes and cleaning the bowl.
Avoid Accelerants: Never use accelerants to start a re; this is dangerous and can damage your re pit.
Avoid Plastic: Never use any plastic materials in or nearby a re pit. It is very di󰀩cult to remove the residue later, and
the burning of this residue can cause the emission of toxic fumes.
Use on a Safe Surface: Always use re pits on a smooth, non-combustible surface; do not use on a wood deck or other
combustible surfaces like dry grass, leaves, mulch, etc. Do not use re pits near combustible structures such as vinyl
or wood siding. Take care never to drop your re pit, as any breakage could cause serious damage and costly repairs.
Cover and Store: If you do not plan to use your re pit for an extended period of time, cover and store it in a dry location;
this will protect it from the elements and dust buildup. Do not allow the re pit to be exposed to water. The manufacturer
is not liable for rust due to weather conditions.
Extinguish: Let res die down gradually, do not use water to put out a re as this may cause the metal to crack from
the sudden drop in temperature.
Unzip the carrying bag completely an place it on a at surface. Flip the spark screen upside-down and place
it in the re bowl. Unlatch and collapse the leg/ring assembly and place it on the spark screen. Place the
poker in the cavity. Carefully zip the carrying bag closed.
Make sure all parts are completely cool before packing
them into the carrying bag.
