Oven Light Replacement
CAUTION: Before replacing your oven light bulb,
disconnect the electrical power for your oven at
the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Be sure to
let the light cover and bulb cool completely before
removing or replacing them. When in use, light bulbs
can
become warm enough to break if touched with a
moist cloth or towel. When cleaning, avoid touching
warm lights with cleaning cloths if the light cover
is removed.
The oven light (bulb) is covered with a removable
glass cover which is held in place with a wire.
Remove the oven door, if desired, to reach the
cover easily.
To
remove:
Hold your hand under the cover so it doesn’t fall
when released. With fingers of the same hand, firmly
push back the wire cover holder. Lift off the cover.
