Auto heat-up
When Auto heat-up has been activated,
the cooking zone switches on
automatically at the highest setting and
then switches to the continued cooking
setting which you have previously
selected. The heat-up time depends on
which continued cooking setting has
been chosen (see chart).
Activating Auto heat-up
Briefly touch the display for the
required cooking zone.
Touch the sensor for the continued
cooking setting you want until a tone
sounds and lights up in the cooking
zone display.
The symbol flashes alternately with
the power setting selected in the
cooking zone display during the heat-
up time (see chart).
Changing the continued cooking
setting while the cooking zone is
heating up deactivates Auto heat-up.
Deactivating Auto heat-up
Briefly touch the display for the
required cooking zone.
Touch the continued cooking setting
you have set until the goes out.

* The continued cooking settings with a dot
after the number are only available if the
power level range has been extended (see
“Programming”). As the higher continued
cooking settings are generally used for
frying food, only a relatively short heat-up
time is needed to heat up the pan initially.
