USER MAINTENANCE IN-
STRUCTIONS
To prolong the service life of the dish-
washer, maintenance should be carried
out at least once a year by Miele Cus-
tomer Service.
Maintenance covers the following:
- Electrical safety according to national
regulations
- Door mechanism and door seal
- Any screw connections and connec-
tors in the wash cabinet
- Water inlet and drainage
- Internal and external dispensing sys-
tems
- Spray arms
- Filter combination
- Sump including drain pump and non-
return valve
- All baskets and inserts
The following operational tests will be
carried out as part of the maintenance:
- A program will be run as a test run
- Seals will be tested for water tight-
ness
- All relevant measuring systems will
be safety tested, including fault dis-
plays
- Safety features
Check the condition of your dish-
washer regularly (approx. every 4–6
months). This way, faults and prob-
lems can be avoided.
Damage due to unsuitable clean-
ing agents.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratching. Contact with unsuitable
cleaning agents can alter or discolor
the external surfaces.
Only use cleaning agents formulated
for use on the relevant surfaces.
Cleaning the wash cabinet
The wash cabinet is largely self-clean-
ing, provided that the correct amount of
detergent is always used.
If, despite this, limescale or grease de-
posits build up in the chamber, these
can be removed with a proprietary dish-
washer cleaner (available from Miele).
Follow the dosage recommended by
the manufacturer on the packaging.
Clean the filters in the wash cabinet
regularly.
