To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBED,CRUSHEDor WATER.
Pressthe glassgentlyagainstthe top
of thedispensercradle.
Thespillshelfis not self-draining.To reducewater
spot!ing,the shelfand itsgrilleshouldbecleaned
regulany.
tfnowater isdispensedwhenthe refrigeratorisfirst
installed,theremay be air in thewater linesystem.
Pressthe dispenserarm for at leasttwo minutesto
removetrappedair from the water line andto fillthe
water system.Toflushout impuritiesin thewater
line,throw away thefirst sixglassfulsof water.
CAUTION:Neverput fingersor anyotherobjects into
theicecrusherdischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKorLOCKCONTROLSpadfor
3secondsto lockthe dispenserandcontrolpanel.To
unlock,pressand holdthe pad againfor
3seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthenight light inthe #spenser
onandoff.Thelightalsocomesonwhenthe
dispensercradleis pressed.Formodelswith a bulb,
if the lightburnsout,it shouldbereplacedwith a 6
watt 12Vmaximumbulb.ForLEDmodelscontact
FactoryService.
Ooor Alarm
UseDoorAlarm to soundif eitherdoorisopen
for morethan 3 minutes.Thealarmwill stop
oncethe door isclosed.ForLCDmodels,a popup
screenwill aRpear.Thealarmcan besilenced
by touchingthe LCDscreen.
TouchLEDDispenserControl:
Pressthe SETFEATURESpadonceand DOOR
ALARMwill blink.PressON/OFFand thedooralarm
will besetandthe iconwillturn solid.PressON/OFF
againto turn the alarmoff.
Door Alarm (onTactile LEDDispenserControl
model)
To set the alarm,
press this pad until the
indicator light comes on.
Thisalarm will sound if either
door is open for more than 3
minutes. The light goes out
and the beeping stops when
you close the door.
Quick Ice
Whenyou needto speedupiceproduction,usethe
QuickIcefeature.Whilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezerfan runscontinuouslyfor48 hours,or
untilthe featureisturnedOFF.Duringthisperiod,ice
productionwill increaseupto 40%.Modelswiththe
integratedicefeaturesystemrequireat FIRSTUSEat
leasthalfan 8 oz.glassof iceto be dispensedevery6
to 12hours.Thiswillhelptheicemakerfillthebucket
properlysothatdispensingisbetter.

Precise Fill (on some models)
Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwith a feature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsyou to choose
a preciseamountof water(cupsor ounces)that
you wouldlikedispensed.Pintsand Litersare also
availablefor LCDmodels.

O Pressthe PRECISEFILLCUPS/OZpad.
TheWATERpadwill lightandthe CRUSHED
andCUBEDicepadswill turn off.Thelastunit
usedwill be displayed.
0 Pressthe PRECISEFILLpad againto toggle
betweencupsandounces.
Ifyou selectedOUNCES,pressthe A arM pad
to selectthe numberof ouncesyou wouldlike
to havedispensedbetween2-99 ounces.
Thedefaultis 8 ounces.
Ifyou selected CUPS,press the A or V pad to
select the amount you would like to have dispensed.
They are displayed as 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and 5/4, with
the highest amount being 16 ]/4 cups. The default
is i cup.
O Pressthe cup against the cradle and water will
begin dispensing. It will automatically stop when
the amount sethas been dispensed. The display
will show the amount of water dispensed, beep,
then reset after 5 seconds.
NOTE:Do not leavethe dispenser unattended when
water is being dispensed.
If you would like to stop dispensing water
before the specified amount has been
dispensed,just remove the cup from the cradle.
The display will show the amount that has been
dispensed for 5 seconds. If the cup switch is
pressed again within that time, the dispenser
will continue up to the set amount. If not, the
display will return to the set amount.
