Cooktop Cleaning (cont'd)
Do not use the followlng on the cooktop:
° Do not use abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, such as
metal and some nylon pads. They may scratch the cooktop,
making it more dimcuit to clean.
° Do not use harsh cleaners, such as chlorine bleach, ammonia
or oven cleaners, as they may etch or discolor the cooktop.
° Do not use dirty sponges, cloths or paper towels, as they can
leave soil or lint on the cooktop which can burn and cause
discoloration.
Replacing the Halogen Oven Light
The oven lights will automatically turn ON when the oven
door is opened. The oven lights may also be manually
operated by pressing the 9 pad.
The oven light bulb is covered with a glass shield. The
glass shield can be removed to be cleaned manually or to
change oven light. THIS GLASS SHIELD MUST BE IN PLACE
WHENEVER THE OVEN IS IN USE.
Be suie the _ange is unplugcjed and all
part s are COOL before _eplacing ore n l!ght. Wear
a leather_faced glo_e for pr0tecfion aga!nst possib
broken glass or burns.
To replace the light bulb:
Replacing the Round Halogen Oven Light:
1. Turn the power off: at the main source or unplug the
appliance.
2. The bulb is covered with a glass shield screwed in
place (fig. 1). Replace bulb with 25-watt halogen
appliance bulb only (fig. 2). Please note: do not allow
your fingers to touch the new bulb when replaclng.
This will shorten the llfe of the new bulb. Use a
paper towel to cover the new bulb when installing.
3. Replace the glass shield (fig.l). The glass shield must
be in place whenever the oven is in use.
4. Turn power back on again at the main source (or plug
the appliance back in).
5. The clock will then need to be reset.
