WATER FILTER

Itisrecommendedthatyoureplacethewaterlter:

• Approximately every 6 months.

• When the Filter Exchange indicator turns on.

• When the water dispenser output decreases.

• When the ice cubes are smaller than normal.

Remove the old water filter

NOTE:Replacingthewaterltercausesasmallamount

ofwater(around1oz.or25cc)todrain.Placeacupunder

thefrontendofthewaterltercovertocollectanyleaking

water.Holdthewaterlterupright,onceitisremoved,to

prevent any remaining water from spilling out of the water

lter.

1. Makesuretoturnothehouseholdwatersupply.

2. Turntheltercounterclockwiseandthenpull

downandout.Makesuretorotatethelterdown

completely before pulling it out of the manifold hole.

NOTE: The substitute cap must be retained for the future.

Ifthelterisremovedandnotreplaced,itisnecessaryto

reinstall the substitute cap to prevent water leaks from the

lterhousing.

Replace with a new water lter.

1. Removetheredcapfromthelter.

2. Holdthelterwiththeunlocksymbol facing

towards you, as shown in the picture below. Insert the

lterintothelterreceptacleontheleftsideofthe

refrigerator compartment.

3. Pushthewaterlterupintothelterreceptacleand

rotate it clockwise to lock it into place. Once installed

correctly, the lock symbol

should be facing

youandyoushouldnotbeabletorotatethelter

clockwise any more.

NOTE: After installation, if you notice that the lock symbol

isnotfacingyouoryoucancontinuetorotatethelter

clockwise;removethelterandrepeatinstallationto

prevent water leaks.

After installing the water lter:

1. Replace the shelf to the initial position.

2. Afterinstallinglter,turnonhouseholdwatersupply.

3. Dispense2.5gallons(9.46liters)ofwatertopurgethe

system, depressing and releasing the dispenser pad in

cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF. Open

the refrigerator door and check the shelf area for

water leaks.
