Outputs infrared control signals. Aim this v,,indov¢ at the
component you want to operate.
CODE SET
Use to set up manuf:tcturer codes (see page 61 ).
O Input selector buttons
Select the input source and change the control area.
• Sound field program / numeric buttons (1 - 8)
Use to select sound field programs.
Use numbers 1 through 8 to select preset stations when the
unit is in tuner mode.
NIGHT
Turns on or off the night listening modes (see page 35).
LEVEL
Selects the speaker channel to be adjusted and sets the
level.
0 Cursor buttons A / v / < / > / SELECT
Use to select and adjust sound fiekt program parameters or
SET MENU items.
Press/x / v to select preset station numbers when the unit
is in tuner mode.
TEST (RETURN)
Ontputs the test tone to adjust the speaker levels.
Returns to the previous menu level when adjusting the
SET MENU parameters.
0 TRANSMIT indicator
Flashes "a,hile the remote control is sending signals.
@ STANDBY
Sets this unit in the standby mode.
0 SYSTEM POWER
Turns on the povcer of this unit.
SLEEP
Sets the sleep timer.
_) MULTI CH IN
Selects MULTI CH INPUT when using an external
decoder (etc.).
0 AMP
Selects the AMP mode. You must select the AMP mode to
control the main unit.
_1 VOLUME 4+
Increases or decreases the volume level.
@ MUTE
Mutes the sound. Press again to restore the audio output to
the previous volmne level.
EX/ES
Switches between 5.1 or 6.1/7.l-channel playback of
multi-channel software.
