A WARNINGTo reduce the riskassociated
with hazardousvoltage due to an installer drilling
through existing electric wiring or water pipes in the
area of installation:
• Do not install near electric wiring or pipingwhich may
be in path of a drillingtool when selectingthe position
to mount the filter bracket.

• Depressurizesystem as shown in manual prior to
cartridge removal.

dueto hydro-pneumotictankrupture:
• Do not install if water pressureexceeds120psi (827
kPa).if your water pressureexceeds80 psi (552kPa),
you must installa pressurelimiting valve.Contacta
plumbing professionalif you are uncertain how to
checkyour water pressure.
• Do not installwhere water hammer conditions may
occur, tf water hammer conditions existyou must
installa water hammer arrester.Contacta plumbing
professionalif you are uncertainhow to checkfor this
condition.
• Wherea backflow preventiondeviceis installed on a
water system, a devicefor controlling pressuredueto
thermal expansion must be installed.

• After installation,sanitizer MUSTbe flushedfrom the
system beforefirst useas directedwithin the
installation instructions.
Thissystemhasbeentestedforthe treatmentofwater
containingpentavalentarsenic(alsoknownasAs(V),As(+5)or
arsenate)at concentrations
of 0.050mg/Lor less.Thissystemreducespentavalent
arsenic,butmay not removeotherformsof arsenic.This
systemisto beusedonwatersuppliescontaininga
detectablefreechlorineresidualor on watersuppliesthat
havebeendemonstratedto containonlypentavalentarsenic.
Treatmentwithchloramine(.combinedchlorine)isnot
sufficientto ensurecompleteconversionoftrivalentarsenicto
pentavalentarsenic.PleaseseetheArsenicFactssectionof
thePerformanceDataSheetfor furtherinformation.
Thisreverseosmosissystem contains a replaceable
component criticalto efficiencyof the system.
Replacementof the reverseosmosiscomponent should
be with one of identicalspecifications,as defined by the
manufacturer,to assure the same efficiency and
contaminant reduction performance.
