Solutions to Common Problems
Before you call for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. The list includes common occurrences
that are not the result of defective workmanship or materials in this appliance.

Range not level.
Bad cooking results.

easily. Appliance must be

Place oven rack in center of oven. Place a level on the oven rack. Adjust leveling legs
at base of range until the rack is level, Contact installing agent if rack and cabinet
cutout flooring are not level,
Kitchen cabinet misalignment may make range appear to be unlevel. Be sure cabinets
are square and have sufficient room for range clearance, Contact cabinet maker to
correct problem,
Cabinets not square or are built intoo tight. Contact a cabinet makerto correct the problem.
Contact builder or installer to make appliance accessible.
Carpeting interferes with range. Provide sufficient space so range can be lifted over carpet.
Make sure cord/plug is tightly into outlet.
Service wiring is not complete. Contact your Sears Service Center, installing agent or
qualified servicer.

Dial markings are an indicator of relative heat settings and will vary slightly.
Voltage is incorrect. Be sure appliance is properly connected to the specified power source. If
