PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
Chopping/mixing blade
stopped working.
• Cheese pieces are too large. Cut cheese into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces or smaller. Soft cheeses need to be
placed in freezer 30 minutes prior to processing and firm cheeses need to be cold from refrigerator.
Vegetables are not
shredding or slicing.
• Store vegetables with high water content in the refrigerator prior to processing. Room-temperature
vegetables are less firm and do not perform as well.
Lid leaks. • Seal has come off or been removed. Place seal below groove on lid.
• Food is trapped under seal. Remove seal and wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Place seal below
groove on lid.
Mixture stops blending
when using chopping/mixing
blade.
• There may be ingredients stuck to the side of the bowl or not enough liquid. Press OFF (
). Remove lid
and use a rubber spatula to push mixture towards the chopping/mixing blade.
