O Run the machine to clear the auger of snow
@ Remove all snow and slush from the snow thrower to
prevent freezing of auger or' controls
LUBRICATION - AS REQUIRED
e Lubricate the flange on the discharge chute before
storage.
e See Lubrication Chart diagram for lubrication points
and type of lubricant
ENGINE
SPARK PLUG
e Clean the spark plug and reset the gap periodically
To service or replace spark plug, see To Replace the
Spark Plug paragraph on page 16.
e Make sure that the spark plug is tightened securely
into the engine and the spark plug wire is attached to
the spark plug
e If atorque wrench isavailable, torque plug to 18 to 23
foot pounds
