To avoid any damage, the sandwich layer and adhesive must resist heat.
The hob must be ventilated properly. The air inlet (D) and outlet (E) must never
be blocked or covered (s. fig. below). Always keep the appliance in proper
condition.

Install a thermal protection below the bottom of the appliance when
installing it above a drawer or a cupboard.
