2.3 Selection of installation equipment / Dimensions
NOTICE! Never seal the hob using a sealant (e.g. silicon). Appliance and
worktop can be damaged when dismounting the appliance.
1. Provide an installation opening relevant to the dimensions on the following
drawings. For installation and use, a minimum of 50 mm and 200 mm space
shall be preserved around the installation opening. (s. fig. below; MINIMUM CLEAR
SPACE REQUIRED AROUND THE INSTALLATION OPENING).
2. The thickness of the worktop must be between 40 mm and 50 mm. Choose
heat-resistant materials for the work top only to avoid any deformation caused by
the heat-radiation of the appliance.
