Smart Electrician Digital Timer

STEP 1: SET THE CURRENT TIME
1. Press the DAY/TIME button
2. Press + or – until the current day of the week is displayed. Press ENTER.
3. Press + or – until the current hour is displayed. THIS IS IN MILITARY
TIME, so 1:00 PM is 13:00, 4:00 PM is 16:00, etc. Press ENTER.
4. Press + or – until the current minute is displayed. Press ENTER.
5. Press + or – until the current second is displayed (OPTIONAL). Press ENTER.
6. Press DAY/TIME to return to the main/home screen where the current day and
time should be showing.
STEP 2: PROGRAM YOUR TIMER FOR THE TIMES YOU WANT IT TO TURN ON
AND OFF EACH DAY
1. Press the DAY/TIME and ENTER buttons at the same time. The screen should
say 1 ON. This means we’re telling it what time we want the timer to turn on.
Press ENTER.
2. Press + or – until the days of the week that you want your timer to operate are
highlighted. You can select one day of the week, every other day, weekdays,
weekends, or all 7 days of the week. Press ENTER.
3. Press + or – until the hour that you want your timer to turn on each day is
highlighted. THIS IS IN MILITARY TIME. Press ENTER.
4. Press + or – until the minute that you want your timer to turn on each day is
highlighted. Press ENTER.
5. Now the screen should say 1 OFF- this means we’re telling the timer what time
we want the timer to turn OFF each day. Press ENTER.
6. Press + or – until the days of the week you want your timer to turn off are
highlighted. Press ENTER.
7. Press + or – until the hour you want your timer to turn off are highlighted. THIS
IS IN MILITARY TIME. You can have the timer turn off after midnight of the
next day- just select the correct time to turn off and it will know what to do.
Press ENTER.

8. Press + or – until the minute you want your timer to turn off are highlighted.
Press ENTER.
9. Now the screen should say 2 ON. If you want to have your timer come on and
off at multiple times each day, you would need to set a 2
nd
program. For
example, you want the timer to come on at 1 PM and off at 2 PM, on at 3 PM
and off at 4 PM, you would have set 1ON and 1OFF settings for the 1PM to 2PM
program, and can use 2 ON and 2 OFF for the 2 PM to 3 PM program, and so on.
You can have up to 16 different programs, on different days of the week if you
wish. If you just need the 1 program set, you can press DAY/TIME to return to
the home screen, which should show the current time and day of the week.
STEP 3: MAKE SURE YOUR TIMER IS SET TO RUN THE PROGRAM
1. Press the MANUAL button until the home screen says “AUTO”. This means the
timer is ON and will run your program(s) automatically. You don’t need to do
anything else.
2. If for example, your timer/device is off right now but you want to turn it on outside
of your regularly timed hours, you can press the MANUAL button to turn the power
on to your device.
3. If the timer and your device are currently turned on, and you want to turn them off
earlier than the scheduled time, you can press the MANUAL button to turn the
power off.
4. When you’re done, just make sure to press the MANUAL button until the home
screen say “AUTO” and the timer will automatically run the program(s) you have
set.
