6.0 blower replacement
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TO BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED INSTALLER and must be connected and
grounded in accordance with local codes. In the absence of local codes, use the current CSA C22.1 Canadian
Electrical Code in Canada or the current ANSI/NFPA 70 National Electrical Code in the United States.

1. Disconnect the gas and power supply.
2. Remove the 4 screws securing the blower mounting plate to the appliance.
3. Disconnect the 2 fl ag connectors and the grounding wire.
4. Remove the screws securing the blower to the mounting plate.
5. Install the new blower by securing it to the mounting plate using screws from step 4.
6. Reconnect the 2 fl ag connectors and the grounding wire to the new blower.
7. Resecure the blower mounting plate to the appliance using the 4 screws removed in step 2.
8. Reconnect the gas and power power supply.

• The wire harness provided in the blower kit is a universal harness. When installed, ensure that any excess
wire is contained, prevent it from making contact with moving or hot objects.
