20.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter Depth Refrigerator
Setting up your refrigerator
Before using your refrigerator
Unpacking the refrigerator
Remove the interior packing and throw it away or recycle it.
If the refrigerator has been in a horizontal or tilted position for any period of time, let your refrigerator stand upright for
approximately two hours before connecting it to power. This lets the oil settle into the compressor and reduces the
possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from improper handling during transportation.
Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap
over the adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm water and dry.
Wash the inside with a damp warm cloth soaked in a solution of one quart of lukewarm water to two tablespoons of
baking soda. See “Cleaning your refrigerator
” on page 30 for more information.
Wait for approximately 10 minutes after moving your refrigerator or plugging it in for the first time so that the coolant
fluid settles.
