WARNING: Always remember to turn on your headlamps at
dusk or during inclement weather. The Daytime Running Lamp
(DRL) system does not activate your tail lamps and generally may not
provide adequate lighting during these conditions. Failure to activate
your headlamps under these conditions may result in a collision.
PANEL DIMMER CONTROL
The panel dimmer control is located
to the left of the steering wheel on
the bottom edge of the instrument
panel. Use the dimmer to adjust the
brightness of the instrument panel
and all applicable switches in the
vehicle during headlamp and
parklamp operation.
AIMING THE HEADLAMPS
Place the vehicle with the following conditions:
1. The area around the headlamp is not deformed.
2. The unloaded vehicle is parked on a flat level surface.
3. Tire inflation pressure is at the specified value.
4. The vehicle is in a state ready for driving (with a full tank of fuel, oil
level, and coolant).
5. The vehicle has been bounced several times.
