DUN: Dial-Up Network Profile – This profile functions as a
wireless data cable, connecting a PC or PDA to a network
through your handset.

Object Push Profile (OPP) – You can send a vCard or a
vCalendar in your phone to other Bluetooth-enabled
devices.

FTP – File Transfer allows sending or receiving non-
protected data files to a compatible Bluetooth® device.
v
BPP – Basic Print Profile is a profile to transfer user-
generated images to a printer and print them out.
v
A2DP – allows for the wireless transmission of stereo
audio from an A2DP source (typically a phone or
computer) to an A2DP receiver (a set of Bluetooth
headphones or stereo system).

AVRCP – allows Bluetooth devices to control media
playback on remote devices.
v
Phonebook Access Profile (PBAP) – This profile enables
exchange of Contacts information between devices. It is
likely to be used between a car kit and a mobile phone to
allow the car kit to display the name of the incoming
caller.

The Human Interface Design (HID) - profile is supported
only for keyboard input.
