1. Press and hold the Programme button and the
Dosing Aid button simultaneously.
“1” appears on the display, which means water
level “soft”.
2. Turn the knob to adjust the water level to.
2 = Medium
3 = Hard
and press the knob to conrm. As soon as
you conrm the water hardness setting, you
automatically exit the water hardness setting
mode.
ADAPT THE WASHING MACHINE TO YOUR LO
CAL WATER HARDNESS
The washing machine comes with preset water
hardness level soft.
Check your regional water hardness level, for
example by consulting your local authorities or via
internet. – If your local water hardness is not “soft”,
adjust the washing machine as follows:

To save these values in the washing machine:
1. Select the programme for which you
want to save the detergent value.
2. Press and hold the Dosing Aid button until
the bottle symbol on the display lights up. The
indicators of all programmes for the detergent
group light up.

3. Turn the knob to adjust the dosing value
to the one you have identied before on the
detergent pack. Afterwards conrm it by pressing
the knob.
4. Do this procedure for all three programme
groups. It is enough if you save the dosing value
for one programme per group – it will then be
automatically saved for all other programmes of
this group.
To return to the factory settings: select and conrm
“rES” as described in step 3.
