#1 What do I do if I want to focus on a specific cleaning area?

You can use the ECOVACS APP to control exactly where
you want to clean. The DEEBOT 900 will initially create a
map of your home, then display it on the app. Using the
app, you can block off areas you don't want to clean, or
have the robot focus on certain areas that need extra
cleaning. The app has numerous features that let you
program your DEEBOT 900 to do exactly what you want.

#2 How do you block ensure the robot doesn't go into a specific
room?

After the Deebot has mapped the area, you go into the app
on your phone and create exclusion areas. The areas are
squares. If the area you want to exclude is oblique, you can
create multiple small boxes to prevent the Deebot from
crossing that boundary.

#3 This will run without internet as well correct?

My experience is that this will not run without internet.
There isn't a separate controller and you must download
the app and connect it to your wifi in order for it to operate.
In fact you cannot really do anything with the app unless
the unit is turned on and connected to the internet. It's one
of the few down sides to this model. That said, I really love
all the features and intelligence it has. In my experience it
does the best job out of all robotic vacuum cleaners that I
have tested.

#4 Why doesn’t the "virtual" wall work after I set it up on the App?

Virtual Boundary will take effect the next time DEEBOT
leaves the Charging Dock. After you create a Virtual
Boundary on the App, it will not take effect immediately.
DEEBOT will avoid the no-go zone created by the Virtual
Boundary the next time it departs from the Charging Dock.

#5 After you set a schedule, is it stored in the machine or in
the app (or both)? Does it have to be in touch with the app
to run on a schedule?

The schedule is stored both in the machine and the app. It
does not have to be in contact with the app to run. It might
need to be in contact with the internet to run. I had one that
when my wifi password changed it stopped running, but not
enough testing to be sure.

#6 My vacuum quits working and tells me to clean the brush. I
replaced it after i cleaned it and it stills says fo clean it. I
can't get it to work!

You have to rest it on the phone app go on accessories usage
and reset the brush selection and it will be ok
