Servotronic
Concept
Servotronic is a speed-dependent power steer‐
ing function.
The system provides the steering force with
more support at low speeds than at higher ones.
This makes it easier to park, for instance, and
makes steering firmer when driving at faster
speeds.
Furthermore, the steering force adapts according
to the program, so that a firm, sporty feel or a
comfortable steering response is conveyed.
Programs
The system offers several different steering
force tunings.
Program Steering force tuning
"Comfort" Low steering forces, good road‐
way feedback.
"Sport" Medium steering forces, en‐
hanced roadway feedback.
"Sport Plus" High steering forces, maximum
roadway feedback.
