Safety Restraints
37
*
[SR15080( X)12/95]
Always adjust the lap and shoulder harness belts provided with
this child seat snugly around your child.
*
[SR15085( X)08/95]
RWARNING
Never leave a child unattended in your vehicle.
*
[SR15090( X)08/95]
RWARNING
Safety belts and seats can become hot in a vehicle that
has been closed up in sunny weather; they could burn a
small child. Check seat covers and buckles before you
place a child anywhere near them.
*
[SR15095( X)08/95]
RWARNING
Failure to follow all of the instructions on the use of this
child restraint system can result in your child striking the
vehicle’s interior during a sudden stop or crash.

How to Use Built-In Child Safety Seat
[SR15105( X)08/94]
Read the following procedures and all of the labels on the
Built-In Child Seat before using the seat. Refer to Figures 1
through 14.
[SR15110( X)06/95]
RWARNING
Never use the Built-In Child Seat as a booster cushion
with the adult lap belt. The five-point belt harness of the
Built-In Seat provides much more secure restraint than a
lap belt. Children who are the proper size to use the
Built-In Child Seat should use the five-point belts.
Children who sit in the right rear seat but are too large
to use the Built-In Child Seat should use the lap/shoulder
belt, but should sit on the seat cushion rather than on the
built-in seat.
