SIDE BURNER ASSEMBLY
SIDE BURNER ASSEMBLY
Check Gas Type
Check that the gas type is correct for your type of gas,
You will find the gas type label on the underside of your side
burner If your side burner is of the incorrect gas type, or if
you are unsure, consult your dealer before going any further
Assembly
Attach side burner to your barbecue trolley as per step 9
on page 14
The spill bowl and burner cap are put into place at the
factory, but may have moved in transit Make sure the burner
cap sits neatly on the burner, and the two holes in the spill
bowl line up with the holes on the side burner body
Place the trivet onto the side burner, making sure the pins
on the bottom of the trivet go into the holes on the spill bowl
Connection to Barbecue & Gas Supply
The side burner becomes the first burner of your barbecue
The gas comes into the side burner from the left side, and
continues through a hose to the main barbecue unit
First, connect the side burner to the gas supply For portable
LPG/propane bottles, use the hose and regulator supplied
Natural gas systems must be installed by a licenced
gas fitter
Connect the side burner directly to the barbecue gas inlet
When assembling all hoses, ensure they are not in contact
with any surface that could become hot during use In places
where they goe through metal panels a rubber grommet
must be installed
Secure all joints using two Spanner/Wrenches Do not over
tighten
Check for leaks after turning on the gas supply by brushing
a solution of water and detergent Leaks will be indicated by
vigorous bubbling
Retighten or reseal any leaking joints. If leaks persist
consult the manufacturer or dealer.
