Problem Possible cause and solution
The ice maker is not
producing any ice
cubes or no cold water
is being dispensed.
The appliance or the ice/water dispenser has not
been turned on.

Make sure that the ice/water dispenser has been
switched on.
The plumbed water connection was not installed.

installed correctly.
The water intake is not open or has not been vented.
Open the water intake.

The ice cube container is not correctly positioned.
Check that the ice cube container is located cor-
rectly.
The temperature in the freezer is too high.
Set the temperature in the freezer lower (see “The
correct temperature”).
The appliance door has been opened too frequently,
causing the compressor to turn on more often and the
ice-cube maker has iced up.
Only open the door when necessary and for as
short a time as possible.
The water pressure is too low.
The water pressure must be between 29 and 116
psi (2 and 8bar).
Check if an incorrect valve has been installed,
making the pressure too low.
After first use, it might take about 24 hours until the
first ice cubes are produced.
