MICROWAVE OVEN OPERATION
Breakfast
NUMBER FOOD AMOUNT METHOD
1 Scrambled Eggs 1–9 eggs For each egg, use 1 teaspoon
(5 ml) butter or margarine and 1 table-
spoon (15 ml) milk. Place butter in dish large enough for the egg to
expand. Mix egg and milk together. Pour onto butter in dish. Place
in oven and program. When oven chimes, stir egg mixture, moving
cooked portion to center of dish and uncooked portion to outside.
After cooking, stir and let stand, covered, until set (eggs will be
slightly undercooked when removed from the oven).
2 Hot Cereal 1–6 servings Use individual packets or bulk hot cereal or oatmeal. Follow package
directions for amount of water or milk. To prevent boil overs, choose
a large container. If the oven stops, stir and touch START/QUICK ON.
After cooking, stir and let stand for 2 minutes, covered.
3 Rolls & Mufns Fresh
1–10 pieces

1–10 pieces
Use to warm rolls, mufns, biscuits, bagels, etc. Large items should
be considered as 2 or 3 regular size. Arrange on plate and cover with
paper towel.
To warm fresh rolls and mufns, touch BREAKFAST and 3, then
touch 1. Enter quantity and touch START/QUICK ON. For refrigerated
rolls and mufns, it may be necessary to double the amount to ensure
proper serving temperature.
For frozen rolls and mufns, touch BREAKFAST and 3, then touch 2.
Enter quantity and touch START/QUICK ON.
4 Frozen Breakfast Foods 3–6 oz
(85–170 g)
Use for frozen breakfast entrees, pancakes, wafes, burritos, etc.
Follow package directions. It is not necessary to enter amount. After
cooking, let stand 1–2 minutes.
