For Apple Macintosh Computers user using RS-100M
(For HL-1250 Only)
Problem Recommendation
Unable to print from
application software.
Make sure that the supplied Macintosh printer driver is installed
in the System Folder and it is selected with Chooser.
Check the PORT selection within the Chooser : it should match
the port to which you physically attached the printer cable.
The serial slide switch of the optional interface board should be
in the Apple (RS-422A) position.
Check the printer cable type : you cannot use a Local Talk or
straight-through cable. Refer to Chapter 2 for details on printer
cable types.
For iMac and Power Macintosh G3 with USB
(For HL-1240/1250 Only)
Problem Recommendation
HL-1240 (or HL-1250) does
not appear in Chooser.
Check the printer is turned on.
Check the USB interface cable is connected correctly.
Check the printer driver is installed correctly.
