The Honda Passport is a mid-size SUV that has gone through multiple generations.
First Generation (1993–1997)
Honda introduced the Passport as a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo under a partnership with Isuzu to enter the SUV market.
Second Generation (1998–2002)
Honda continued its collaboration with Isuzu, releasing a redesigned Passport with updated styling and a 3.2L V6 engine. However, as Honda developed its in-house SUV, the Pilot, the Passport was discontinued in 2002.
Third Generation (2019–Present 2025)
Honda revived the Passport in 2019 as a two-row, mid-size crossover SUV positioned between the CR-V and Pilot. This version was based on Honda’s Global Light Truck platform, featuring a 3.5L V6 engine and off-road capability with i-VTM4 all-wheel drive.
