Parking with the Center Stand
1.
Stop the engine.
2.
To lower the center stand, stand on the left
side of the vehicle.
Hold the left handle grip and the rear grip.
Press down on the tip of the center stand
with your right foot and, simultaneously, pull
up and back.
3.
Turn the handlebar fully to the left.
4.
Turn the ignition switch to the
(Lock)
position (2 P. 28), remove the key and close
the shutter (2 P. 29).
Refueling and Fuel Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to protect the engine,
fuel system and catalytic converter:
● Use only unleaded gasoline.
● Use recommended octane number. Using
lower octane gasoline will result in
decreased engine performance.
● Do not use fuels containing a high
concentration of alcohol. 2 P. 115
● Do not use stale or contaminated gasoline
or an oil/gasoline mixture.
● Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
