• NEVER tilt, move, or
attempt to empty the unit
while it is operating. Shut
o and unplug from the
electrical outlet before
removing the reservoir
and moving the humidier.
Always move the humidier
horizontally.
• NEVER operate the
humidier without the
reservoir.
• Always use both hands
when carrying or moving
the humidier.
• Wash your hands properly
after you clean the water
reservoir or handle the wick
lter.
• Never allow absorbent
materials such as carpet,
curtains, or tablecloths
to become damp due to
humidity level.
• If the humidier is not used
for a long time, bacteria
and mold may grow on the
lter. If the lter is very dirty
with dark spots, do not use
and replace immediately
(see chapter ‘Replacing the
lter’).
• Do not wash the lter in a
washing machine or dish
washer, otherwise the lter
will lose it’s shape and not
t properly.
• Clean the reservoir and
lter every week to keep it
clean.
• Only ll the reservoir with
cold tap water. Do not use
hot water.
• Do not put any substance
other than water in the
reservoir. Do not add
fragrance or chemical
substance into the water.
Use only water (tap,
puried, mineral, any sort
of potable water).
• If you do not use the
humidier for a long time,
clean and dry thoroughly
the reservoir and lter.
• Keep the humidity sensor
dry. If the sensor gets
wet, it could miscalculate
the humidity level, and
the humidier could
stop working due to
miscalculated humidity
level.
• Extension cords may be
used if care is exercised. If
