It is normal for your oven door to give
the appearance of not having a good
seal against the oven. This isdue to
the gasket. The location of the gasket
on the door maintains a good seal
and prevents any heat loss.
_ tensils should never
be left In the oven
during a clean cycle.
Gray porcelain-coated
oven racks may safely be
cleaned In the oven during a
self-clean cycle. It will be
necessary to grease the edges
of the oven rack with a light
coating of vegetable oll after a
clean cycle. This will help
maintain the ease of sliding the
recks In and out of the oven.
For the first clean cycle, vent
the room with an opened
window or hood vent. This will
reduce the odor produced when
heating new parts.
