Probably not...and sharp's customer service is a joke.
Mine has a bright blue vertical line near the center of the
screen, and just yesterday, a horizontal black line
appeared about 6 inches from the bottom. But it's
3.5years old, so it is disposable according to sharp. you
would think that if they charged $2500 for these things,
they would stand by them longer than a year...what a
joke. Cut your losses and never buy a sharp again.

I would recommend using a PC with HDMI out to the TV.

Solution to The Voltage difference is easy just get a
voltage converter. more importance issue is the broad
cast system they're two major system thate been widely
use globally one is NTSC which use in north America
and some other country (Japan is one of them The
other is call PAL wich being use throught out Erope tou
need to know the operating system of U tv, to match the
broad cast system of the country U want to use.
