Maintenance cycle with hot water to clean and
freshen the drum and to remove residue that may
cause odour. For the best result use this cycle once
a month. Before running this cycle, remove all items
from the drum. In the washing phase compartment
of the detergent dispenser, put the flap of the com-
partment in upward position. Pour a cup of chlorine
bleach or a washing machine cleaner in the wash-
ing phase compartment. DO NOT use both togeth-
er.
After the drum cleaning, run a further
rinse cycle with empty drum and no
detergent to remove any residue of
bleach.
If you set this programme with the Mode - Dry, the
appliance performs the anti-fluff action. Refer to
chapter 'Fluff in the fabrics'.

sure that there is no softener residue in
the detergent dispenser.
Outdoor clothing, technical, sport fabrics, wa-
terproof and breathable jackets, shell jackets
with a removable fleece or inner insulation.
By performing a combined wash and
dry programme, the drying phase also
acts as water-repellent restorer. Make
sure that the garment care label
permits tumble drying.
