Teka THPD70 Questions and Answers

#1 Does a Heat Pumper dryer need to be connected to a tap??

This has an optional drain bypass hose which you can connect to a drain outlet to remove collected moisture. Alternatively, if you can't connect to existing plumbing, the dryer will collect moisture in a water container tank which can be easily emptied

#2 Is this a gas or electric heat pump dryer?

It is an electric heat pump dryer.

#3 How do I connect water drainage hose? Cannot find any reference to it in manual provided.

Please be advised that this particular unit does not have a drain hose section, but a water capture container (located on the top left hand corner of the front panel). It is advised that after each use, this container be emptied.

#4 Can this dryer be operated upside down? As the controls will be out of reach if not.

#5 Hi there, can this dryer be wall-mounted?

No, unfortunately heat pump and condenser dryers cannot be wall-mounted

#6 Can you connect a hose directly to this machine to drain the water?

Yes, that is correct. The optional bypass hose comes included with the dryer
