Note: It is not necessary to detach the handle and the bearing part after each
use.
5 Remove the skewer from the metal frame. Slide one of the meat forks on the
spit rod and spit the chicken (or other meat) on the skewer. Slide the second
meat fork on the spit rod (Fig. 8).
Caution: Be careful that the metal frame does not tilt when removing the spit rod
from the motor unit.
6 Stick both meat forks into the meat at slightly dierent angles to hold food
more securely. Next, center the meat on the skewer and x the meat forks to the
rod by screwing them down.
Tip: Use some kitchen or butcher twine to truss the drumsticks and wings of the
chicken on the skewer.
7 Insert the skewer into the motor unit and place it on the frame (Fig. 9).
Note: The bearing part should be aligned with the opening of the side wall
(Fig. 7). The meat should be centered on the skewer allowing it to freely turn
between the metal walls.
8 Plug the grill into the power outlet. Operate the grill according to the user
manual by turning the control knob to the “On” (I) position (Fig. 10) and switch
on the motor unit by pressing the “On” (I) button to start the skewer turning
(Fig. 11).
Note: When you marinate food, only use a little oil and brush the marinade
lightly onto the food as the oil causes extra smoke.
9 Grill the chicken (or other meat) until it has reached the desired doneness and
browning (see the cooking table for suggested cooking times).
Tip: Always check internal temperature using an instant-read thermometer. Be
careful thermometer probe does not touch the metal spit as this would cause an
inaccurate reading.
10 When you have nished grilling, switch o the appliance and the rotisserie
motor unit, and remove the plug from the wall outlet.
Caution: The skewer, spit parts, metal frame, and grill are very hot, use kitchen
gloves to remove the skewer from the grill.
Cleaning

the grill.
3 Remove all detachable parts.
4 Clean all detachable parts (except the motor unit of the skewer) with
dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or clean the parts in the
dishwasher after each use. Dry thoroughly before storing. Do not soak for
prolonged periods of time. Never use harsh abrasives or corrosive products.
5 Store in a cool, dry place.
